Humans have an inherent disorder of assuming the current speaker to be of utmost veracity with truth in every statement. This disorder has previously produced undesirable results and has been the victim of propagandistic sentiment for generations. The elites who decrypted this psychological fallacy of the multitudes have long wielded its power for malicious or selfish intentions. The Nazis, for instance, were adept at influencing public opinion of their victims (not crucial per se). For example, they tore throats, screaming and imprinting a stereotype of Jews in their citizens' minds. Donald Trump Junior is a slightly more relatable and apt example. 'We need to build a wall.' One supports the phoney and criminal immigrants, by Republican definition, in their meticulous attempts to cross the border and take American jobs. Or one affirms the Republicans for their efforts in the creation of a wall paid for by the Mexicans. One cannot vouch for the wall and be a Democrat by the statement.
Similarly, one cannot detest the wall and be a Republican. Prior to the expansion of political campaigning techniques, politics was a field (still rid by corruption no doubt) of finesse. Campaigning was usually upon singular principles. You could support a party but dislike certain ideals without a feeling of guilt. Now, if one detests the wall and the Democrats - the individual is ridden by guilt to join the Democrats.
The question remains, why? Why must we take the eloquent speaker to be the honest speaker? Why must human psychology be proactively engaged in producing loopholes to exploit? Why can these loopholes not be amended?
- The eloquent speaker/writer speaks/writes with the grace of a confident individual. Confidence is correlated to the integrity of an individual in the minds of the many. It contributes to the brain understanding confidence as narrating the truth. Dear readers, do you not see movies? We are sucked into the vortex of a movie's plot by the confidence and skills of the actors. We cry in their misery. We revel in their joys. A less talented actor or an amateur produces a less-believable reproduction of the same. Reason? Confidence - talent. This analogy is a case for human psychology to regret.
- Political leaders are fluid with cash. The profit motive is prevalent for any field desirous of gaining from politics. Hence, business leaders, politicians and the elite criminals fund research into the exploitation of human psychology. PR (Public Relations) rely on such stunts to engage the mind of their consumers into a state of following their employers and their statements. Research is fueled by monetary aid progressed on a (yet again) quid pro quo basis.
- These loopholes are not holes in the evolution-seasoned logic of the mind. They can be amended with simple fine-tuning of our ancestral philosophy. The final result of the below-mentioned tactics can encourage a more wholesome approach to the world itself. These holes are temporary but can be used to access the weakened mind and influence it to the point of no return.
To prevent the flawed yet silver-tongued statements of persuasive politicians from corrupting our chaste brains, we must proactively decipher the logic for differentiating between declarations. Instead of wholely basing a politician's image upon his expression and oratory, take in a good measure of the underlying meaning of his words. Recognise his words as empty rhetoric or meaningful sentences. Take into account the divisiveness of every declaration. Inspect the statement as OneWorld does. Is it to shock and provoke for electoral gain? Is to degenerate law and order? Are we to believe their account without adequate facts?
The divisions of caste, creed, gender et cetera are among us. They haunt humanity and exploit our sensitivity to certain divisions of humanity. Divisive statements create sensation and trepidation. They shock, and they incite. Divisive comments are here to stay. We must adapt to patch our sensitivities and break down the walls between the community. After all, humans are a single species, and not sub-divided. The author has crafted a poetic verse for the same in the continuing lines.
Awaken, o Reader of mine,
The time has come to remove our binds.
The chains around us,
And all those one finds.
Hearken, o Reader of mine,
Realise the faith of humanity at stake.
The key to the chains is not with us,
But the key we must make.
Cometh forth, o Reader of mine,
Break and destruct your barriers.
Blame not your problems on the rich,
For we ourselves are the carriers.
Listen wisely, o Reader of mine,
Do not fall deaf to propaganda and lies.
Remember what you read isn't yet right,
And do not simply surmise.
